Why do you need to know?
Ok. Here's the problem. when I am on firefox 1.0.7, after a few seconds, it just redirects me to the site I was on previously!! is this a problem with the browser, my network, what? And how do I fix it?

yes. nearly every single site i've been on has this problem.

if you mean extentions as firefox add-ons, i have none installed

Are you using the trackpad/mouse? Some extensions for Firefox allow you to use mouse gestures to go forward/back...

All I do is scroll down or up on my Mighty Mouse.. and Boom! I'm at the previous site

Could it be that the scrollthingy on the MM somehow has been configured to go Back in the browser? Does this happen with any other browser?

nope. I've used Safari since I got the Mighty Mouse, and nothing like this has happened.

Just to rule out that it's nothing mouse related; Does this happen if you use another mouse? (preferably a non-scroll wheel one ;))

If you using MM, sometimes horizontal scrolling in Firefox can be interpreted as history forward/back.

In Firefox address bar, type about:config. Change the following settings:
mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.action to 0

Maybe it helps!

Holding Shift and scrolling down will send you back. (tested it now)
