Firefox Problem.

Well to be honest it isnt so much a problem it is just that when ever i use firefox it mounts to my desktop everytime which is rather iritating and spoils my nice minimal desktop. Does anyone else have this problem? Has anyone been able to fix the problem?

I am fairly sure i have properly installed it but i just wonder if it is only me.

Did you copy Firefox to /Applications?
Are you running from the copy in /Applications?

Yeah im running it from applications, thanks for the help guys, im just going to try out a few other things to see if it helps.

I don't think you are. If an image is mounting, you are opening a .dmg (or other image file). You should not be opening an image file. Rather you should be opening a .app file (the .app probably won't be shown). Are you sure you read the guide I posted?

Hey thanks very much guy i have fixed the problem. I had basically been a total noob and just slapped the dmg file on my dock instead haha.
