On an earlier thread about Firefox 68 for Linux 64 bit, the Quantum browser got a lot of positive reviews from users claiming it was finally less buggy, more stable than before and loads websites really fast.
Someone mentioned it was trying to be ported to Linux 32 bit for PPC meaning the dual processor Powermac G4 would get a really good browser. And slower G4 systems would also get a good browser.
Does anyone know who is working on this project and where we can track progress and contribute? And where Quantum 32 stands right now?

The problem has been lack of proper Rust support on PowerPC and I don't know if that has been fixed, or ever will be given that PowerPC is a Tier 3 platform according to the Rust devs. A port might be possible, but it would take a lot of work.

Quantum has already successfully been ported to 64 bit ppc on a couple versions of Linux though.. Is the lack of Rust support more present in 32 bit PPC?

Reviving this thread almost 5 years later, has Rust support ever been properly ported to 32 bit or 64 bit PPC?
