Firefox to Safari passwords import help

Hey, just bought a MacBook so I'm switching from Firefox to Safari for desktop use.

I managed to import my Firefox bookmarks, but I can't get the passwords to work. Safari told me I have to enter my master Firefox password. I didn't have one, so I made one for this. But then it tells me I am entering the password incorrectly. Is this a bug?

Is there a way I can manually download my Firefox passwords and import them into my iCloud Keychain?

This feature with Firefox and Safari and passwords is available with the Firefox ESR version. I have recently had the same issues with passwords.
