Firevault recovery Key

Hi, I really do not remember setting up a recovery key when I got my macbook pro 2015, anyone know a way of retrieving it?

Tried this but didn't work.

So, quick search led to

1. Turn off Firevault
2. Turn on Firevault to generate new key

Perhaps you chose the "recover with your AppleID" (or similarly worded), option?

What didn't work about this? Turning off and fully decrypting the drive should have been enough. Did you reboot in-between #1 and #2?

I meant to say turning it off and on again solved my problem.
