I have a Netgear DG834GT wireless router and have a slight problem with it. I don't know how to turn its firewall off. Because of this there or certain internet gaming restrictions that are happening. The built-in Mac OS X firewall is not turned on so how do I turn the Netgear one off?

You don't want to turn off the Netgear Firewall. You want to use the Port Forwarding feature, which only opens up the minimum TCP ports to allow the game to communicate, and forwards all packets that come in on those TCP ports to your Mac without exposing your Mac to the Internet itself. What game are you playing?
