I know very little about Mac's and have been a hardcore Windows user for years. I've been looking to get one of the new intel macs so I can dual boot and have the best of both worlds but I'm looking for a firewall other than the one built into OS X that I've been reading about.

What I really want is some kind of firewall that will alert me as to when internal programs are accessing the network via a pop up or something. This will allow me to stop them from accessing the internet if I don't want them to. I don't think any firewall is complete unless it can perform this function. I use Sygate right now and it works great for this. Anyone know of any mac firewalls capable of this? Or perhaps the built in firewall can do this already and I just don't know about it!
