I bought a LACIE Big Quadra 2TB external disk so that I could extend my HD as an additional drive.
I connected it to my Imac running 10.6.4 with a firewire 800 cable and it worked perfectly. I then upgraded to 10.6.5 and it suddenly can't see the Lacie. If I downgrade to fw 400 it works perfectly but it's slow by comparison. I changed the cable to be sure it wasn't that and it doesn't work with a new cable either. There are two ports on the Lacie and neither make it recongnize the HD but sadly I don't own anything else with fw800 so I can't test the ports further than that.
Any ideas? Lacie's support site is useless. Refers to a firmware upgrade app that can't then be located on their site.
