Hi guys ...

I'm using a macbook pro 13inch mid-2010
i have a thunderbolt to usb3 adaptor, but a thunderbolt adapter can't be used on my macbook since it has only a firewire port.
So, is there an adapter that i can use on my macbook to convert the thunderbolt adapter to a usb3 device ?
In the end,i want to have a usb3 port on my macbook for faster file transfer ,,

Thanks ...

The fastest port on your computer is the Firewire 800. 800Mbps is the limit. Even if there were firewire to tb or firewire to usb 3 adapeters, you wouldn't get the speed of usb3.
