Firmware 04.02.13_G and itunes 7.6 +Jailbreak ?

Hello there i have a iPhone version 04.02.13_G ( 1.1.2 ), and itunes 7.6 on my macbook running 10.5.1 , It seems that all the ways i could find the Jailbreak the phone so that i can use it as an ipod until the software unlock is available for this version, don't work at the moment.

I have tried iNdependend ( that gut stock while trying to downgrade to version 1.0.2 ) and Jailbreak got stuck on trying to get out of the restore modus, i left both for more then 20 minutes and nothing happend.

So is there a problem , with this version of the iPhone firmware maybe?

The phone is only a week old so maybe there is something new ?
Can anybody help me ?

iTunes 7.6 is a major no go for Jailbreak. Take it from someone in your position most of the day. Find a Windows PC with 7.5 and use iPhuc and these sites.

i Have an installer for itunes 7.5 for the mac, so i could create a new account and install 7.5 itunes there would that do the trick to?

And i have another question, in order to give the phone excces to my aiport i need to know the mac adress of the phone in order to ad it to my allowed devices on the aiport any way i can find the number without hacking the phone first ?

Well i got it to work in the end then i updated to 1.1.2 software,and now i'm stock again ,lol.
I Cant get the 1.1.2 jailbrake jar to launch.pfff, wish i had stopped at 1.1.1 now.
