Anyone else download the firmware 2.0 off Itunes yesterday and finding it really unstable. The screen keeps flashing and the phone must have auto rebooted at least 5 times. I am also finding that the touch screen isnt as responsive and is much slower. Hopefully the offically released firmware will be a bit more stable.

My phone seems less responsive than it did under the old firmware. Hard to put my finger on it exactly, but it just seems a bit sluggish in all apps.

Sorry about the problems but that's the risk one takes with "pre release" software/firmware

My phone told me I had no Wi-Fi for the first several times I attempted to turn it on! The box was entirely grayed out. I had to reboot it, resync it, and then it worked. Strange.

Mine rebooted once. The most annoying problem I'm having is when I click sync in itunes it tries to do a very slow backup. How do I keep it from doing that every time?

Mine does it too, you can cancel back up by clicking the X button on iTunes next to where it says "backing up". This doesn't end the sync however so it will sync the music and videos etc for you but will not take 2 hours to back up.

Oh ******** - the firmware isn't a pre release. It'll be the same one to come out today via Itunes. I have noticed more latency and greater instability but most of the time it's occuring in the 3rd party apps themselves and NOT the apple sanctioned ones. The latency is a bit bothersome but tolerable and may just be in my head...I have had the phone reset once or twice in a 3rd party app which is annoying
