FIrmware password on 11.6" air

Hello!

THis is my first mac. Very happy so far (7 seconds boot time is fast!)
Anyways, im used to enable firmware password on my laptops so if it get stolen i know it cant be used

On pc you can usually press a button, get into bios and set it there.
After googling around i found out i need something called OPEN FIRMWARE PASSWORD or something from Apple.

It says i should install it from the disc, but i didnt get any disc.
So where do i get it? Do i find it on the recovery usb? Or can i download it?
(i dont have the recovery usb with me, thats why i ask)

It states "For Mac OS X v10.5.x, start from the Leopard Install DVD and choose Firmware Password Utility from the Utilities menu, then skip to step 5.

I dont have a optical drive. I didnt get any DVD either.
Ive heard about a recovery USB - and I guess that USB is just to recover the system as it is now? (without the auto password utility)

I havent checked the USB since I dont have it here, but if the USB have the full DVD on it I guess I will find it there.

I suspect that you can replace "USB Stick" for DVD in the document: you should be able to boot from it and set a password that way.

There is an Open Firmware Password utility found on the USB device. Just boot off of the USB stick and select the 'Open Firmware Password' utility under the Utilities menu. Easy peasy.
