firmware update?

hi all,

i never installed the mbp sr firmware update from a couple of weeks back, as there were many initial negative experiences.

what has been the consensus regarding installation? scrolling through the forums, it doesnt seem to be talked about much.

Seems most people have it all sorted out and working fine now.

I didn't have a single problem while installing it; but that is because I followed the instructions - most people didn't realise you had to hold down the power button for a while until you hear a beep.

Also, resetting PRAM sorted out a lot of the problems.
