So my problem is the following then:
Updated to firmware version 1.2 and now when i turn wireless off, and then on again, my MBP crashes and I have to restart.
How can I fix this problem?!?

A more detailed explanation of the problem is below:
I have my MBP plugged into my parents network, and this is sharing the internet connection over airport to my sisters new laptop, allowing it to download all the necessary updates. During this process, the connection kept dropping out every couple of hours or so, and I had to go to my MBP, turn airport off, and turn it on again. Then it would continue working for a couple of hours again. <Why does it keep dropping out? Any ideas?>
Now i noticed at somestage, that I had some updates due for my MBP, when I realised I had a firmware update for my MacBook Pro, which I obviously hadn't downloaded (MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update 1.2) when it came out.
I downloaded it, and installed it, following the required instructions. It made a beep during the update process, but the little bar under the apple filled up completely, and then it restarted, telling me all was successfull. Hoorah!
So, I now have Boot Rom version MBP11.0055.B08, which according to the apple website, is now the current version.
Now. Wireless still drops out every couple of hours, and so as before, I go to my MBP, turn airport off and then turn air port on again.
At this point (when I turn airport back on) i get a grayness sliding down my screen, with a lovely big message in the middle stating "You must restart your computer" in various languages. So, I hold down the power button, and it restarts fine. Wireless is working again.
An hour or two later the wireless drops out, so I go back to my MBP. Airport off. Airport on. "You must restart your computer". So I restart, and wireless is working again.
About two hours later. Wirelss drops out. Airport off. Airport on. "You must restart your computer". So I restart, wireless says it is working again, however the Airport icon in the bar thingy at the top of the screen is gone, and now the bluetooth icon is over by the spotlight icon....
