Hello all, my first application [app]Pocket Beam[/app] went live in the App store over the weekend! I'd give out promo codes, but it's Free!

I know it's not the first out, but it's mine and I'm excited about it! If you like, please leave some feedback.

It's currently ad free, but might add iAds at some point to see what it's like.

Enjoy!

This LINK works:)

Like the northern lights wallpaper but would recommend that you change the wording "Blinking Light" to "Strobe" It is catchier and has more effect on customers.

Since you have a "Strobe" light you should also post the warning for people with Epilepsy.

No screen light so wont be downloading but I really do love that wallpaper.
Does it allow music to play in the background while using flashlight? Does not state in description.

Hope all goes well for you!

Hey thanks! Yea the new version will say "strobe" instead. I didnt use it for version 1.0 bc when I use "strobe", i want their to be an option to control how fast it is. This will be in the new version. No it doesn't allow music to play in the background, working on that too.

Also, what do you mean by no screen light? Thanks for the advice!

Many users believe that using the Retina display is not an asset but I disagree, there are times when using the screen as a reduced light source is advantageous and beneficial. There are other things that I can help you with but lets try this one for starters.

Again not sure if I follow. Are you saying you'd rather have the option to turn the screen black? I chose a dim background so the screen didn't give off too much light. Please elaborate for me.

Thanks!

Sorry for not being clear. I am referring to having the option to use the screen and Retina display as an Alternate flashlight for nightlight/lowlight situations. This would require having an additional Button/Screen in the style of the previous flashlights before the LED. Don't change your current screen just design/program an additional choice.

i see, thanks for the suggestion!

Hello all, I updated my application [app]Pocket Beam[/app] to 1.5. Now the app will continue to play background music while in use. Strobe function has also been updated and now allows you to pick the strobe rate.

Enjoy! 2.0 will bring the old screen flashlight and iAds.
