I am a bit confused by this, I just hold the iphone up and do a search of something and it will point me in the right direction and show all of the results?

Augmented Reality apps use the GPS, magnometer, and camera of your phone to determine exactly where you are and which way you are pointed, and then overlay real-life destinations over a video feed.

don't see my self using this much, not practical at all, it defiantly is an app i want to just have on my iphone though.

Earlier you tube video i remember watching a couple months back

seen this b4

Saw similar apps in the works when the first iphone came out. Lots of people have been experimenting with this. I think it's great. As hardware & connection speeds get faster we will see more apps like this. :apple:

give it a couple more months and we will probably see a GPS Application using this technology, mount on your dash pointing camera out the front windshield and have the GPS Graphics overlay.
