First “brand new” Mac Mini M1 in almost 12 years (16GB, 512GB SSD)

So I’ve bought my first “brand new” Mac in almost 12 years.

Wahooooo can’t want to see what the M1 can do..

it’s back ordered and will be a few weeks.

I will post, first impressions when I receive it.

I bought the 8/256 base model. Don’t need more than that really.

Seriously impressed with it though. Lovely machine to use.

And this is just the start!

All the current M1 releases are at the low end of the range. I am really really looking forward to what Apple do with the higher end models.

The next year or so is going to be a very interesting time, not just with Apple stuff, but how their competitors are going to respond.

Yup, Can't wait to see next gen M2 mobile and desktop !

Getting my 16g/512g too. Coming in mid dec. Can’t wait.

Quite impressed it runs WoW at 1920x1080 60fps and reasonable detail. Thought it was glitchy until I direct connected a G703 mouse with the lightspeed dongle, rather than an MX Master via Bluetooth.
