I've always waited until a week after the jailbreak to buy all of the new phones, but I just couldn't hold out on the 6 Plus 128GB this time.

These are the tweaks I find myself missing the most.

. Virtual Home - I hate having to click the home button. With virtual home, you're able to just tap it, and the TouchID sensor registers it as a click.

2. f.lux - I'm really going to miss it first thing in the morning when I check my phone.

3. Screen Dimmer - I hate having to lock the phone to dim the screen Screen Dimmer would let me choose an amt of time, I chose 60 seconds, and the screen would dim, then at 2 mins, the screen would turn off, and at 5 minutes the phone would lock. So, say a song lasts 3 mins, I could tap the screen, it would light back up, and i could skip the following song or do something else without having to unlock the phone. Really miss this.

4. BiteSMS. - the messaging app is better than ever, but still not BiteSMS

5. NoSlowAnimations - I hate the way Apple has this built in delay when you click on an app or click the home button. It's like it takes double the time it should to open. NoSlowAnimations allows me to control that slight delay. I totally get rid of it lol.

There are a few other tweaks I would love to be able to make to the phone, but those are the biggies. Still love my iPhone 6 Plus oodles though. I'll take these minor annoyances over android crap any day.

These are minor things, and until the jailbreak, I will adjust.

Great post, learnt something new and will be downloading virtual home. My question is how did you get f lux and dimmer to live harmoniously? Like many other users these two apps conflict on my iphone. Specifically on my iphone 5s on 7.1.2. I am also going to look into bitesms.

I do not see myself using an iphone without jailbreaking it nor do I see myself ever using an iphone which is not a S version.

If I were to use an iphone without jailbreak I would miss the following:
Springtomize
Fancy
F lux
Bytafont 2
Winterboard
Barrel
Uicolors
Zeppelin

Same here. I miss NoSlowAnimations because I've got older devices. Also flux( Minuum isn't predicting text well so I can't type f.Lux properly.)

I never had an issue with f.lux and dimmer working together. I didn't even know it was a common issue, honestly. It's worked from 4S to 5S for me.

Glad you got to learn about virtual home. It's amazing. I miss it so much.

NoSlowAnimations just makes the OS seem so damn fast.

I think the apple version is a disaster compared to Bite.

The quick reply for example..when I get sent a picture, all I can do is reply or close....I can't open the message app to see it. or if I'm in the middle of replying and a new text comes in..I lose my reply.

I think they've done a poor job.

Considering the mass of resources they have at their disposal it's a very very poor app compared to BiteSMS

PushForGmail is the thing that I miss the most. I actually prefer the native mail app over the alternatives, but the lack of push email is driving me crazy.

If only Apple implemented gestures on iPhone 6+, that is all that I need now from the jailbreak world. I miss Activator.

Does virtual home still work with the double tap for the reachability feature?

Some of those arent minor things.

i think u 2 are talking about 2 different apps/tweaks: Dimmer and ScreenDimmer.

Dimmer claims to now work with f.lux and 7.1/64bit (doesnt specifically say 7.1.2). Havent tried dimmer on my 5s wit f.lux yet.

I don't use as many of the apps as a lot of you do, but the ability to ssh to my device, get to a shell prompt and the operating system, and to be able to do system administration things is priceless to me.

For those who miss f.lux ... Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Scroll all the way to bottom -> Accessibility Shortcuts -> Triple click to Invert colors

Honestly, I like this better than f.lux for reading at night.

For me, if I were to upgrade, I'd miss:

Auxo
CCsettings or equiv
MyWi
LockInfoX
OpenStatus
iFile

Taskbar notifications are what I miss. I hate popups and worrying about anyone holding your phone seeing your notifications. Could also see them on the lock screen without being annoyingly huge.

I like themes, but they aren't something I necessarily 'miss' when I get a new phone (I have the 6). The only thing I really miss is Swipe Selection. I also would like to still have BioLockdown, but that won't be as big an issue for too long as more apps add TouchID capabilities to them. I also miss being able to toss my app off the screen from the bottom right.

I just replaced my jailbroken iPhone 5 with a 6 and the single tweak i miss the most is without a doubt Auxo 2.
Fingers crossed that devs will succeed with a iOS 8 jailbreak soon.

PushForGmail is the thing that I miss the most. I actually prefer the native mail app over the alternatives, but the lack of push email is driving me crazy.

I'm using the native mail app and push works fine for me. It must work for some and not others?

Gmail doesn't have the option for push (if you had it configured before the change, then you still have push for gmail with the native mail app)

I'll miss Winterboard, and the themes I use now.. however, that's not needed in an absolute way.

The things I MUST have...

biteSMS
MyWi
3g Unrestrictor

Those are the only three that I use constantly.
