My MBP (1st-gen 2.0ghz, bought in the first week of Intel Macs' existance, later got a logic board replacement to fix CPU whine) normally runs at 65-70 deg C with "normal use" aka 20-30% processor utilization at the max.
Is this too hot?
The reason I'm asking is because I just had an odd crash. A window just stopped in the middle of flying out (http://img408.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img0695zi1.jpg it was the mail add attachments window). The clock stopped and I got a beachball. The mouse moved the beachball around. It briefly changed to a pointer but was still unresponsive and changed back to a beachball. After 5 minutes, the clock wasn't moving and I still had a moveable (with the mouse) beachball and I hard reset the computer.
Not the first time this has happened either... I noticed the computer was very hot during this, and thought that might be the cause of some instability, but I'm not 100% sure the issues are actually related.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
