Bought my first iPad for my own use. Ended with the base model Air as it was the most affordable option that supported the latest Pencil.

I was planning on using it with Goodnotes, but so far the standouts for me are Procreate, Concepts and iFontMaker.

The pencil is so nice to use. I used Wacom tablets long ago.

Congrats on your iPad and Pencil, and hope you have lots of fun with it. I have the same.

Congrats. You can check out some video comparisons between GoodNotes and Notability. Both are good note taking apps with the Pencil. Not sure what you will prefer.

I hope you continue to enjoy drawing with the Apple Pencil!
