So i was just typing in my BMW forums, like i am now when suddenly I see the grey creep over. At first i was confused (i have a KP screensaver for kicks), but then i realized it was the real thing.

looks like its ACPI related. I was using the computer unplugged and on my school's wireless at the time. Any other ideas?

I have not added any RAM or modified my system components in any way.

Wouldn't worry about it. It happens once in a while. If it happens more frequently then you should be more concerned.

hmm hopefully. I was surprised and disappointed my KP free streak has finally ended.

I've had three panics in about 45 days. Same thing every time. It crashed because of Windows!

Technically, it was Windows XP running inside of Parallels at the same time I started up Toast or versa visa. They both try to access the DVD writer at the same time (I am guessing) and they don't like to share.
