Hello,
I am a complete mac noob and am looking for a cheap in. I've searched eBay and found some deals but don't know what to get. What's not too old but still cheap and good. I found this and maybe I can get it for under 300.

Let me know if I should go for it or keep looking. I don't want to spend a lot since I don't know if I'll like it. I love my iPhone though so the odds are good hehe.

That looks decent; hence the 21 bids!

It's Intel (steer clear of PPC like G4 & G5) and has 2gb of RAM which is the minimum needed to run OSX in any satisfactory way.

I have one of those and it's a perfectly fine machine for most purposes.

Mine has an occasional wake up video glitch, but is otherwise great.
