I'm pretty amazed on how far digital cameras have come. No longer does one need to shell out for big, heavy cameras, as the mirrorless systems from Fuji, Sony, and Olympus are doing some serious technological feats.

Here a few shots from my X-E2. I gotta tell you, this is no ordinary kit lens.

The ISO3200 performance has come a long way on APS-C sensors, thanks to Fuji:

Talk about dynamic range too! My 650D just wouldn't be able to get that kind of exposure for the building and sky in one shot out of camera. No chance. It obviously shows in the other photos as well: the bark along with the model's skin, the wall detail behind the kid as well as their ear in the shadow of the hat. Bravo Fuji. Now shut up and take my money! :)

Haha. Well if these images didn't give any confidence in the capabilities of these cameras, then you may be on some DSLR high horse.

Were these RAW (RAF) files or jpegs directly from the camera? Fuji has managed to make in camera jpegs look amazing.

Thanks for sharing your images.

That is some crazy dynamic performance there. Been on the camera hunt for a while, I think you may have just convinced me towards getting one.

The 2nd image was severely underexposed as I forget to check my settings, leaving the buidling in the dark. I pulled it up about 2 stops. I thought only my D800 can do that.
