Hi.
I jailbreaked my 3GS 6.0 with redsn0w and it is a tethered jailbreak. Now im out of battery and i was wondering what to do now. I know that i have to use that boot now button in redsnow but i was wondering if i should put my iphone without battery just straight in my computer or if i should recharge it first.
Thanks.

It'll charge while in the computer, once the logo pops up, do the "boot" instructions.

But my iPhone needs to be off to do the whole thing, right?
Or can someone be nice enough to tell me what to do step to step.

It's simple, plug your phone in, when it turns on it'll have like 5% of battery, enough to do the boot process.

How to Boot tether?

Leave your iPhone connected with PC/Mac and Open Redsn0w again.

Step 1: From the main screen, select the Extras

Step 2: Click on “Just Boot”

Step 3: It will again ask you to put your iPhone in DFU mode, follow the instructions carefully.

After that, Redsn0w will again go through the process and your iPhone will be rebooted. That’s it! You have successfully Jailbroken iPhone on iOS 6 using Redsn0w.

My question is, why wouldn't you research all this before actually tether jailbreaking?

I did but i just wanted to be 100% sure what to do when you run out of battery

Usually you don't want to let a tether jailbreak phone battery die, just because of a type of situation such as phone dies and no computer to reboot it.
