irst time caller here with a few questions on my new MBP:

I have a line in (worldspace sat radio) that is clearly working, see attached screencap, as i can record it in garage band, but the internal speakers or headphone jacks are not outputting the sound.

I also have an airport express working with itunes, and once the above is fixed, i want to somehow stream the input (sat radio) to the airport express output terminal. but how?

re point 1 above. in windows with soundblasters, u would set the sound card to "play what u can hear" and all would be well. On another note, i was also shocked there is no system recorder that i can find that outputs wav files. also useful. But all and all just loving this box!

iTunes will only stream its own content. I use Airfoil to stream other stuff from devices and other apps.

US$25 though.

hi, that looks like just what i need so will give it a try right away and let ya know. i fixed the input/output problem, the volume in Qt was off DUH!

I think another solution would be to stream something into itunes, no? like a radio broadcast. i had this all working on the mac side but i was using winamp server and winamp and webstreaming. it was all free however. thx.

Ok u can close this case! Airfoil and the freebies on the site make a great solution if you have airport expresses and want to stream around the home or office...love it!
