iPhone First time jailbreaker

Hello!

Just did my first jailbreak on my iPhone 4S, running iOS 6.1. Jailbreak went great! However, I'm trying to apply some themes, first and foremost Glasklart HD and the LS Nobelis HD.

Glasklart HD, I managed to download from Cydia into Winterboard. Problem though is that when I activate it, it won't change my icons. How come?

Where do I put it? And do I need any other apps from Cydia to actually install that theme?

I managed to install the Nobelis LS via "DiskAid" and then select it with Winterboard. Glasklart is however still not working!

The theme is probably not compatible with 6.1 firmware.
If it is not, it will not work.
There are numerous themes that are out of date and the developers never update them for newer firmware.

iOS 6 is still pretty new in the jailbreak world so you'll need to wait for jailbreak devs to update all their themes and packages before everything works smoothly.

Downloaded Glasklart from their Github and transfered to iPhone via DiskAid. Glasklart now works perfectly

jailbreaking 4s

ohkkk i just bought an unlocked apple 4s from usa and i was hoping to jail break it but i don't know much about jail breaking like would i be able to update it later. i actually don't know anything about jail breaking except from the fact that you can install third party software after jail breaking so can anyone tell me what are going to be the effects of jail breaking on the phone both positive and negative
