Hi gang.

Longtime iPhone user and even longer time Windows user about to take the jump to Mac for the first time ever!

I was going to go get my iMac today but am a little spooked by all the yellow screen horror stories. I've scoured the web and this site but have seen very little info related to very recent purchases of iMac and lack of the yellow tint.

Can anyone who's taken delivery of a 21.5 inch iMac within the last couple of weeks speak up? Good screen? Bad? Any problems?

I was going to get a Mac Mini and a nice LED screen and some peripherals but it all added up to about the same price as the iMac. Or should I stick with the Mini? Also, I live in Phoenix and will be purchasing from the Chandler fashion square store if that makes any difference...

Thanks in advance guys!

Oops. For some reason I completely missed the "I just got an iMac and it's perfect" thread.

Sorry 'bout that.

Still, comments are welcome! :)

If you choose to buy from a source where it's easy to return your iMac, that would offer some margin of safety. I went the Mac Mini route for now because it was good enough for my immediate requirements and I didn't want the risk/hassle factor of getting a problem iMac. iMac would be sweet if you get a good one!

Got a 21.5 for the Mrs last Monday and no yellow and zero dead pixels. Ordered straight from Apple. Good luck with whatever you decide.
