Well, I recently purchased a Mac mini, along with a Magic Keyboard 2 and Magic Trackpad 2. I've hooked it up to the monitor and so far, the experience has been wonderful.
The UI is nicer than Windows, the stock apps seem to be better, and the system as a whole seems more responsive.
That said, I'm still learning some things, such as how to download applications. Coming from Windows, the Mac approach to downloads seems very different.
The learning curve, though isn't very much, and I don't really find myself missing Windows. That said, I do have Office installed on the Mac mini.
All in all, everything seems to be going well so far, but I still have a ways to go before I'm completely comfortable.
