I switched from Verizon to FirstNet a little over a year ago. That switch was an absolute nightmare, which included roughly 16 hours in-store and at least the same on the phone trying to get everything ported over and working.

I placed an early preorder for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, within minutes of the preorder opening. Everything appeared to have went smoothly until I received an email on Monday stating there was a "technical glitch." I called number provided in the email and spent an hour on the phone with AT&T, who then transferred me to FirstNet, then back to AT&T. They said all was good and the "technical glitch" hold would drop off in a day or two, but definitely by Friday. It still didn't drop off, so I was on the phone for another 2.5 hours today. Same thing, back and forth between AT&T and FirstNet. Again, they both said all was good and that I should expected my phones today.

Then, I got the cancelation email. So, I placed another order and was asked for my driver's license, which I provided within a few minutes. They just cancelled the order again because I failed to verify.

What a joke! Looks like I'm going back to Verizon!

I currently have an iPhone 12 pro on Verizon, looking to upgrade soon. I have been looking at T-mobile vs Firstnet. I have read and heard many stories like yours, sometimes from coworkers. I might just go with Tmobile due to better customer service than Firstnet and cheaper than Verizon.
