Apple TV 4K w/ Ethernet, connected with ethernet. - TVOS 18
iPhone 16 PM (both myself and my wife) - both phones have the updated 18.0 iOS released just for the 16s.
Apple Watch Ultra - mine with latest 11.0 OS.
Apple Watch 9 - hers with latest 11.0 OS.

When selecting the Fitness+ app, it shows our devices. However, when we pick the one we want it to connect to, we never get the request on our watch.

Is anyone else having these issues with the latest updates? Everything was working fine before 18.0. Is this a bug that Apple is aware of?

Thanks!

Not sure if it is related, but I use my iPad Pro with Fitness + and my Apple Watch 9. A few days after the latest updates it no longer connected. I had to restore the watch to factory and setup again to get it to work again.

I haven’t tried to completely reset the watch and set up again. I want to avoid that if at all possible. Haven’t called Apple yet.

I did things backwards and reset my iPad first and still no change so I reset the watch. I should have started with the watch as that is the least painful device to reset.

Both my wife and I have been having the same issue. I have to restart apple tv to get it to connect. Sometimes it connects but then just hangs and sometimes it doesn't see most of the devices until you restart apple tv. Then I'm good. Then my wife goes to connect and she has to go through the same routine.

Was fine pre-update.

I've been using it fine on my ipad and then mirroring the ipad to the tv, which is beyond stupid but what works best.
