iPod Fix alphabetical sorting?

Is there any fix to the broken sort of the newer iTunes?

Unlike international standard of symbols then numbers then letters.. the newer iTunes versions seem to put numbers and symbols last. Is there any fix to this? I want to get a 160GB, but I'd need to use a new iTunes, and I don't want my sorting broken.

Don't know if there is a fix, but I'm sick of 'a-Ha' being the first band I see when I start up iTunes

So I'm guessing no.

When you bring up browser, it shows the #'d artists at the bottom of the list. However if you sort by album by year, it lists the #'d artists first, then the a's.
