Hi guys I know there have been a lot of threads on Diablo 2 not working on Leopard, but I couldn't find a recent thread on whether people have gotten D2 to work on SL. Does it still not work for us OS X folks? =(

Thanks in advance!

I add'ed the keys to my battle.net account and downloaded the newest version from their servers.. Works fine with SL.

I've never player Diablo 2 (for Mac) on anything other than Snow Leopard - it works well. I downloaded D2 from Battle.Net, though.

My kids were playing it on the Mini with SL just last night. Works just fine.

I did the same thing. Downloaded it from my battle.net account and used the new CD keys they gave me, but it still quits unexpectedly when I open it. I'm gonna try and install the latest patch and hopefully that fixes it. THanks for the quick replies! That's good news it's working for you guys!

Well I downloaded the patch and I guess I have the latest versions of the game because the patch doesn't see anything to patch. I can't even open the game, it just loads the icon on the dock and then "quits unexpectedly". Maybe it's because I have the intel 3100 graphics?

Diablo 2 doesn't work with Intel graphics on the Macbooks and Mini's that have them (950 and x3100).

You'll have to wait for the 1.13 patch, which is in beta testing now. 1.13 fixes this issue.

Apple removed 256 color modes and it hosed a bunch of games for Intel Graphics users. Starcraft was fixed already and the Diablo 2 patch is taking forever to get out the door.

I think this has been broken for over year and half.

Nvidia and ATI GPU's are fine though.
