As the title says, every day an iPhone is being intensely utilized by the iCloud Backup feature, especially for people with lower upload internet speeds.
What's really happening?
- While charging the iPhone there is generated a minimum heat based on the battery charging process, but apart from that in the background the “iCloud Backup” is uploading all the iPhone data to the cloud and the problem with this is that it can take even hours/days to upload everything to the iCloud for people with Ultra Low uploads speeds like 0.10Mbps… When that is happening the iPhone CPU generates extra constantly heating while charging, after turning off iCloud Backup everything was fine. My iPhone is always cold while charging.

It sounds like you are experiencing some issues with the iCloud Backup feature on your iPhone, specifically with the amount of heat it generates and the time it takes to upload data to the cloud, particularly for users with slower internet speeds. It's understandable that this can be frustrating, especially if it's impacting your ability to use your phone while it's charging.

As for your suggestion of having the option to backup data once a week rather than every day, it's possible that some users may prefer this, but it's also important to consider the potential downsides of less frequent backups. For example, if something were to happen to your phone and you hadn't backed up your data in a week, you could potentially lose a lot of important information. It's ultimately up to Apple to decide how frequently they want to offer iCloud Backup as a feature, but they may also continue to make improvements to the feature to make it less burdensome on users with slower internet speeds.

Your data is already uploaded separately in the iCloud account, Photos, Notes, etc. Everything is there.
The iCloud Backup is just a function to restore a new iPhone faster in a “intact” form. Even if someone doesn’t use the iCloud backup when setting up a new iPhone, the data will automatically be restored anyway. Mostly everything apart from the Home Screen and the installed apps.

This is not a problem that happens especially to me, my past iPhones did the same thing, same behavior.

I need to mention this also, if you don’t care about your iPhone literally burning while charging… is fine. But I do care because is damaging the battery.

The problem occurs only to people with lower upload speeds.

Also never mentioned the model, I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max
