The cracks on the screen are actually scratches and don't actually go very deep. I can live with them, though I would like to get rid of them. The crack above the screen is off to the side and I don't mind about it. It's not interfering with the screen-side camera taking photos so that's fine. It's just for watching videos that it gets a bit annoying. The screen still works and everything.
Can I get rid of these with toothpaste? I have been using toothpaste to get rid of scratches on DVDs for years and it has always worked. Can this work or will it just make it worse?
