I just installed a Radeon Pro W5500 that I had in a PC, thinking it would work. So I booted the Mac Pro with the W5500, and it appeared to work, albeit with no graphics acceleration. So I installed the post-volume patches for OpenCore, and now it's in a boot loop. Any ideas why? Is this card somehow not supported?

@Macschrauber Sorry for not being specific, now I know for next time.

I nuked the OpenCore install (and the HD just to be safe, I know that's probably not necessary), then installed High Sierra (the last supported OS), and then installed Catalina. I'm not going to jump to Monterey quite yet... here are the specs as shown on About This Mac
