fixed my IR sensor

im sure no one really cares, but in case anyone was wondering how my search for an answer to why my IR sensor suddenly ceased working about 3 weeks ago, the reason was the harddrive cable, must have gotten bent funny when i was replacing the left fan...replaced that cable with a new one and the sensor is good to go again..
