My iPhone 3G S started playing up and probably 95% of calls would turn into 'dropped calls'.

I changed the sim to another 3G phone and it worked fine - then i restored the iphone as a new phone - still no joy.

Seeing as there is no Apple store near me I sent it off to apple and the repair status shows this:

Step 1 - Request
Product received (30-Sep-2009)
Step 2 - Service
Issue identified (30-Sep-2009)
Step 3 - Return
Product replacement pending (30-Sep-2009)


Does anyone know when I should get my replacement? Tomorrow or Friday? and will it be mine fixed or replaced with a refurb?
