I just upgraded to Big Sur :(

Some of the UI changes are awesome, but mostly - the reduced contrast is horrible and a big strain to the eyes.
The text input -system-wide- contrast is bad, white-on-white, gray-on-gray, extremely difficult.

- Is there any way to change the 'theme' or improve the contrast?
(and not using the awful contrast feature under accessibility)

Also... My OCD is killing me, this new design is extremely asymmetrical :(

Yes I hate it too. I did use the accessibility contrast setting though and I really like it overall. Hopefully they will have an update with a better solution that isn't so extreme. I'd be eager to have more choices.
