I've downloaded Fizz Weather for the iPhone. It works great I think except for one problem. Today(July14), it displays Monday, July 13 at the top of the screen and it shows 14 July 2008 for the update date. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Firstly thanks for buying Fizz Weather.

V1.0 did indeed have a small issue with day days for some regions. We have resolved this issue and the new version is with Apple waiting to be pushed to devices. We hope this won't take too long. The application update process seems to be running a little slowly at the moment.

Watch out for future updates with animated radar/sat images and weather warnings. When iPhone support 3rd party push notifications from September we will also then support pushed weather warnings for your locations to your device.

Peter

I'm not sure what update you got but our 1.01 version is still in review with Apple. The update system generally is running slow and we had hoped the update would be with you now. I'll post when we see the update has been released. After 1.01 the next release will have some great new features.

I don't remember what update it was, just an automatic one thru the Apple App Store. Thanks for all your help with this, I'll be watching for the update.

How do I get the update? There is no upgrade when I check for upgrades in my Applications in iTunes. Clicking on Fizz Weather in the App Store says nothing about an upgrade either, it asks for me to buy it. I've already paid for it once. Also there is no automatice update on my iPhone either.

If the app store on the device is not showing updates, I'd next check within iTunes and do a manual update. You should have a section 'Applications' as a group in your itunes lib. In this group at the bottom is an update option.

If this still fails, I think I'd email Apple with your invoice ( which should show 1.0 ). The AppStore is now selling 1.01 - and all upgrades are free.

Here is another link that may help. I'm sure Apple may still have a few bugs in the system to iron out.

I finally got the update, installed it, and all the problems with the day and date matching have been fixed. Thanks for all the help with this matter. Case closed!!!
