So according to this video in iOS 11 we will now be able to playback FLAC audio files. Does this mean FLAC support and/or song downloads will be added to iTunes and the music store?? I really hope so. Plus the ability to update previous song downloads like there was when they went to "iTunes Plus".

See 12:15 into the video here.

Of course it doesn't 'mean' that iTunes will have FLAC for sale any more than playback of MP3s means iTunes has them for sale. Apple already has the lossless compression format ALAC (Apple developed but is open source) anyway.

I wish in iOS 11, I could just drag flac file into iTunes and sync to device. But I guess this is not the case.

Maybe it will become available once iOS 11 becomes official this fall. Apple would then have an iTunes update to allow for this.

True but it would be nice to just drag and drop FLAC files into iTunes to play them instead of having to convert them to ALAC or AAC or whatnot.
