As an avid trader of Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead (among a few others), I am continually disappointed by the fact that iTunes does not support FLAC. When Apple released the "Lossless" audio codec, I was disappointed because I just saw that as Apple creating something unnecessary when FLAC support would've been a much more useful thing to do.

Now that iTunes 4.9 is out, and we still don't have FLAC support--I was wondering whether or not anyone here actually uses Apple Lossless. I'm tired of having multiple copies of my music (I keep a FLAC copy for trading, and then go AAC for listening)--I'd like to have one file per track that is worthy of trading AND can be listened to in iTunes. Any chance traders might be persuaded to use Apple Lossless?

Thanks for your feedback...
