iPhone Flagged Emails For All Mailboxes Not Showing All Flagged Emails

On MacOS mail app, I have flagged various emails (Microsoft Exchange account). On iOS I can see all flagged emails when searching for FLAGGED but it doesn't display any emails I have in the Trash folder that are still flagged. Sometimes I want to delete the email but flag it for future response instead of archiving the emails.

Is there any way to include all flagged emails even if they are in the TRASH?
