Every now and then my PB's sound cuts in and out and makes a little click type of sound. I was trying to figure it out today, because its been getting worse, and realized that if you are in the sound control panel, you can see that its actually switching from headphones to internal speakers and thats why its doing that! So, how do I fix that?

Sounds like something is making intermittent contact in the headphone port. I know it doesn't sound elegant, but try jabbing something into the headphone port to see if anything's stuck in there. Blowing some compressed air into it might also be a good idea.

Nothing stuck in there, I looked. But I did blow some air in there. So far it hasn't done it again yet. If it does I guess its back to the drawing board.

I have the same problem with the same type of PB. It almost always stops after I plug in and then unplug some headphones. As to what causes it, i have no idea.
