So, I am so used to going to hulu and sitting on my bed and watching a few shows. normally, I have to make sure that my air is plugged in, because after one episode (I usually watch longer 45 minute shows, like house) or halfway through the second episode my battery would be dead or very near dead. also, I would lay my computer down on my bed, and it would block the bottom of the machine from venting air, so after a while of having it on fullscreen, the fans would start ROARING. I had sort of become accustomed to holding the air up so it was not on the bed, and watching it in the little window.
so last night I updated to flash 10.2. to start off, my battery was at 46%. I had forgotten to plug it in, but didn't really feel like digging through my bag for the charger. this time I watched two full shows, in HD and fullscreen, and was on to my third when I realized what was going on. I closed fullscreen mode and saw that my battery (after two 45 minute shows, and one 25 minute show) was around 14%. I am impressed with this update. It seems to have made a HUGE improvement.
those are just my thoughts about the new update to flash. I hadn't seen anybody mention anything about it yet.
(this was all on a 13" Macbook Air late 2010, 2.13ghz, 256GB, 4GB RAM)
