Flash being pushed in 3rd Party Ads?

Playing a "certain popular game" that has ads in between each turn.

Check out the screen capture ... looks like Flash to me (??)

Are advertisers attempting to sneak Flash into ads? Or did something else break.

Anyone else experience this before?

That's strange can i ask which game or app you used to get that error?

Well, clearly the ad requires a plugin that's not supported on the iPhone. Probably Flash. I don't think they did it on purpose; what motivation could they have to show you an ad they know you won't be able to see. My guess is there's a configuration error on their server so that it sent you the wrong ad.

It was "Words with Friends, Free". If it happens again, I'll take another picture and see if I can figure out which plug-in it required.
