iPad Flash Drive with iOS 13

Looking for a cheap USB flash drive for my iPad 6th gen. So it needs to be lightning to USB. I was going to buy a cheap one from AliExpress. I’m guessing the ones that are advertised as using an App to access the files, will now work without the App, in the iOS files App ?

Has anyone tried this ?
