iPod Flash HDD for ipod info needed.

I have a 30 gig, 5.5g ipod. It works great but I need about 64 gigs. Don't want to spend for a 64 gig touch and I prefer the click wheel. I would love to have a 120 gig classic but I hope not to ever buy another player with mechanical discs.

Need info for a flash hdd upgrade. Found info for upgrading an ipod mini but not a 5.5g. Has anyone heard of this being possible?

Yeah you need a 64GB 1.8" Hard Drive with ZIF interface. You can find a few on ebay.. They are a bit expensive though.

I see what you mean. $155 shipped. Sounds sweet but it's a big investment for a project.
