So my friend did this website and I have yet to find out from him how he did the menu on the left side. I think it's cool however I'm trying to one up it so if anyone knows where I can find tutorials for this or something similar please let me know. This is regarding the menu on the left side of the page:

god...it's awful. that won't be hard to "one-up". I'm a big fan of flash and flash elements, but that has to be the worst menu i've ever seen. It's hard to understand, and the buttons are constantly moving. except the "home" button. It would make more sense if the page you were on was the one that stopped moving, but that isn't the case...it's always the home button.

as to your request for help:

but really if you don't know your way around flash, you are better off just buying a template. Honestly if your friend won't tell you how he did it...he probably didn't do it.

Well I know my way around flash, I'm the one who saved his but when he had errors in his code but I haven't worked with flash in a long time. Yea I know it's awful but I'm just trying to get a good looking menu that is somewhat 3d.
