Big problem... Flash Player 8 does not work in Safari on the new iMac. I just came from the Apple Store and tried to install it, and it sure enough does NOT work. I have to open Safari using rosetta to get it to work, which really slows things down. Anybody find a way to get it to work yet?

Well, what was Safari using originally for Flash before you tried to install Flash 8? Anything?

According to this, Flash should be fine, although it doesn't mention Flash 8 specifically.

You say new iMac, all I can say to help is it plays fine on my Rev.B iMac.
I just got Studio 8 and did some tests on my stuff....what are you trying to do with Flash 8?

Flash Player 7 worked just fine, but when I installed player 8 it doesn't even detect the plug-in and it only worked when I enabled Rosetta. And yes, it was the new Intel iMac 17", I'm not sure what the Rev.A or Rev.B stuff means. It was whatever they had on display in the store.
