Flash plugin using 212MB of RAM???

Is this right? With the limited amount of RAM on my 11.6" MBA(and no possibility of upgrade) I am concerned about RAM usage...

I can't believe how much RAM Flash Player is using... Can someone else confirm this?

P.S. I had this posted over at Notebook Review and I thought that all was OK after I restarted Safari... BUT when I checked again today it was once again creeping up towards 200+ MB with just one(!) tab open...

Safari uses 3gb of real memory and 9gb of virtual memory. I count you as lucky.

Yup, exactly why Steve jobs and apple are staying away from flash. First on iPad. Now not shipping flash installed. Flash sucks. Waste of everything.

Yep, Flash can use huge amounts of RAM. Should have got 4Gb.
